What could this 740i be worth? 1st set of photos

Update on the 740.

About 3 weeks ago I received a call from the lady's son. He said they decided to sell the car was I still interested.
I told him yes and how much did his mother want for the 740? He said $6,000. I said that was too much for me
considering the two front fenders needing repair and the guides. He asked for me to make an offer and I told him $2,000.

He said he would talk it over with mom and his brother. Well tonight I got a call from him and he wanted to know if
I would buy the car for $1500. So I'll be picking it up sometime next weekend. Can't let this interfere with MOM'S day.

Thats interesting that they moved from $6000 to $1500. Why did they go lower the your offer? I need to find sellers like that lol!

It could be that because my mother-in-law is a very good friend, and they saw that I was enthusiastic about the car they gave me a break.
