    Help identify 17" wheels

Was at a local yard and ran across these today. At first I thought they were style 42's, but it appears they are "mock" 2-piece rims.

On the back, they have the following markings:

    Made in Italy
    7 1/2Jx17H2
    ET 41
    PCD
    LM75701

And two sets of symbols I can't make out. 8's or boxes

I found 3 wheels and would like to fill the set.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    James

Put the cast in part no in realoem.com

I put the number (LM75701 and variations ) into Google with no sucess. I see nothing resembling a BMW # on these. I strongly feel they are after market.

8 consecutive numbers looks very like a BMW cast in part no to me
Googling also isn't the same as trying realoem.com part application search

Umderstood. But my experience shows Google tends to bring up real OEM in the results. Either way, BMW didn't offer a 17" one piece wheel, with ET41 offset.

The cast number would look some thing like this 7234598 then you would add say 36-11-7-234-598 for a complete part number I don't see anything like that in the pictures

All three of my E36s are on factory BMW OE 17 inch rims with ET41 and they are all either one piece cast or forged - Contours, Double Spokes, Double Spoke Two, and Style 24/Forged Polished

If the are true factdory wheels, they will have a BMW logo. No logo, aftermarket.

This is absolutely untrue. BMW makes lots of one piece 17 inch wheels with an ET 41.

Ok, perhaps that was a hasty statement. Where I was going was that BMW didn't make a one piece 17" with cosmetic 2-piece bolts with an ET41.

Therefore, they're aftermarket. I think I said as much earlier. I'm hoping someone has seen something similar so I can get a matching wheel.

With no German approval it not BMW.

They look more like FWD rims with that large curve in the hub like these VW rims

But like you said Replica rims.

Hope you got them cheap, it took me long enough to find enough DS1's to make a set for a reasonable price.

$15 a wheel. 2 of the tires are serviceable. Not too bad...

Yeah I wouldn't feel bad about that.
