    Help with Brakes

**Yes, I searched extensively here and at bigcoupe.como but cannot get a definitive answer and am at wits end.

    1981 635SI Euro / M90 / G265

This is an E12 platform car - no brake bomb.

I need rotors and pads and sensors (all 4) but most places only list 633 prior to '85. Where the hell does a guy buy brake parts? Are they the same parts as the 633? Are they the same parts as the later E28 platform E24's? Please guide me so I can get her on the road.

    Much Appreciated!

Use RealOEM.com, look up your car and see what cross references with the parts you want. Ex is for front rotors for your car below. Enjoy the hunt.

Try Auto haus Az. The 81 635 was a Euro car and that's why they don't show it. The pre 82 633 will use the same rotors and pads as the Euro. In have an 81 euro and that is where I got my parts. You should be able to get them in a good parts store in Seattle.

Rob, somehow I have to think you may have something mixed up. The ventilated rotors are the same for an E12 chassied car up through 5/82 sort of as you showed, again providing they are for a vented rotor car.Since the 635 wasn't available in the US until later, the e12 based 633 parts interchange. But according to real oem the post 6/82 parts don't interchange...unless i have read realoem wrong

Bert, I just looked up a 1981 633csi euro on RealOEM and that's what I got. Will defer to you however.

Rob I just tripple checked realoem. I think you are on the wrong car?? Go to realoem, E24, Euro and the parts list that comes up shows the rotors work up through "82. I have the same car, an 81 Euro E24 635 and know that to be correct
