Being a "BMW guy" for some time, and missing my e38, after a few years of drooling over a client's car we finally came to a deal.
Meet my 91 850i/6. One owner, 84kmi, mint shape. More photos coming soon!
I'm looking to lose the wheel gaps, replace the rear deck (mice got it) and maybe, just maybe an eisenmann exhaust. Looking for some added insight from the experienced owners on what else to expect. Very sanitary car, well maintained. I'd love some side shots of folks with suspension setups to see what looks right from the side!

Welcome! Looks like a very clean car!
I would save your money on exhaust, get rid of the center resonator and install X pipe then see how you like the sound
If you want performance your money better spent on a differential upgrade and stiffening up suspension with some performance pieces.
Cheers
Looks nice! You have a few neighbors up there with E31s I suspect can provide a lot of insight. Keep lids peeled for them on the boards here.
Very nice and welcome to the forum! If you feel like taking her for a cruise Sunday morning, there is a great C&C show in New Canaan CT (I'm in Stamford). It's probably one of the biggest around. It runs from 8:00am - 11:00. It's Italia day, so there will be more than enough super cars to fill anyone's need for speed (not to mention all the Italian classics). But you will also find everything from hot rods to American muscle. (here's a link to some of the cars at last years season closer (it was Porsche day) - https://flic.kr/s/aHsm5kTy2b.

Its soo hard to tell what it will sound like. A lot of the videos I see on YouTube sound a little too raw or mustang-ish for my liking. Have you seen the Petrolicious 850CSI video? That car sounds amazeballs. I'm sure it's more than just the cat back, but that loaded acceleration is
Thanks Pablo! I have a wedding in the wrong direction that day. I am excited to hear that there are C&C events nearby, i've only heard of them happening in warmer climates, and I'm sure my Mrs & kiddo wouldn't mind the sightseeing..

Plenty of events around here. The next event in New Canaan is on June 17th and in a park. I believe this one is BMW day, so it may be one not to miss. There is another show on Long Island (bimmerstock) on June 3rd which is a charity event. I think it costs $20 to get in, but not a bad event. It's not all Bimmers though. They just reserve a section for it. The Yorktown one is pretty good as well and every Sunday (but I've only been twice). Will try to hit that one a couple of times this year (have a friend in Mahopac).

Welcome to the family. Nice 8er.
1993 850Ci.....18 years & 165,000 miles and counting!
You will need to choose your wheel/tire combo before you can set your ride height. Unless you want to do it more than once.

Wow, great find! Seconding C&C and other car shows in the area. You might be close to the Yorktown C&C as well. An 850/6 would be a popular car at any event.
congrats and welcome, wish mine was a stick
