    94 e36 325i Vert

Just purchased a E36 vert and I am interesting in building it. I replaced the clutch and put a dual flywheel in it and a CAI. I want to build but do not know where to start. Can you guys help with recommendations? M50 motor and I just purchased a chip from Ebay. I am located in The Bahamas. Can you recommend parts from junk cars that work because I can look around here to see what I find

M3 cams and tune for it will be biggest impact power wise.

What about injectors from other brand cars?

No need for different injectors unless you make other major engine mods to actually need more fuel. And with different injectors you will need a tune as well.

Turbo kit is the best way for significant to big power bump, but will cost you $5k+ done right. You can piece it together yourself, or buy a kit from TRM, etc.

What are your goals for the build?

Well in The Bahamas there is not much road compare to other countries. We are only 21 miles By 7 miles long. I want to have a nice car that can drift and have power but not ridiculous power.

I'm confused. Sorry. You are wanting to pour thousands of dollars into a 30-year old car that lives on an island that is 21 miles long and 7 miles wide, that works out about 50 miles of roadway. Strikes me as more money than sense. Buy a golf cart and build the crap out of it, that would be cool for the island, but putting a turbo in a car that you have to shut down before you can get it to top speed makes no sense.

lol.... I am not trying to make top speed. Just a nice drift car that has power to handle it self.

You don't necessarily need tons of power to go drifting. Plenty of people can get sideways in stock powered e36s.

I recommend going through all common maintenance items and changing all fluids, plugs, filters etc. before you get into big money upgrades.

I may turbo mine rather than going with an M series drop in engine eventually, but I am concentrating on making the car nice and in good order before even considering it.
