MS3 PNP Obd2 vs Obd1 CTS read different?

So I have had my car running for a little over a month. Ever since then though the coolant temp has been like 223* heat soaked on a 50* day. This just seems a bit too hot and I can't see any reason it would be. I have a 16" SPAL pusher fan and the factory clutch fan. The e fan never turns on using the stock wiring but even when jumpered on the temps do not drop. That being said it never goes higher. When I was doing my OBD1 conversion for the PNP ECU I didn't have the correct coolant temp sensors for OBD1 so I just quickly wired in the OBD2 connector and I am happy with that solution. I am just questioning if the sensor reads the same? I figured they would be different but when it was so close to correct I just moved on to the next thing. Has anyone used the OBD2 sensor on a Megasquirt? What settings did you use?

Can you check the temperature reading in TunerStudio and make sure it's correct there?

Also, see if you can make the cooling fan switch on in output test mode.

I am basing this temp off of tuner studios, outside of TS there are no indications that it's hot. I did order a Motion Motorsports under panel with radiator baffle to tidy things up underneath as well as hopefully reduce turbulence caused by the intercooler.

I do plan to wire the fan to the MS and have the relay and selected the output but I have not done it yet.

The car is getting the compressor to evaporator line custom made due to my intake pipe so I don't have it today but I am hoping to get it back later this afternoon.
