12:30pm to 1pm: (Option No. 2) Canyon/Coastal Drive. For those who want to drive and sightsee after the VDC instead of going to the Mullin, Dan Green will lead a tour of the following sights:
1st Stop: Paramount Ranch; 2903 Cornell Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301
2nd Stop: Trancas Country Market; 30745 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265
3rd Stop: Point Mugu Rock; 799 Pacific Coast Hwy, NAS Point Mugu, CA 93042
End: Pizzaman Dan’s 2390 Las Posas Road, Camarillo, CA 93010
Enter all four stops into your navigation system of choice and then assemble behind Dan's car after lunch at the VDC. At that point, you can follow Dan as he guides you through the most exhilarating route (time and traffic permitting). Or if you want to drive more leisurely, follow your navigation.
Whether you're exploring the twisties or lingering at the sightseeing stops, make sure to arrive at Pizzaman Dan's for Dinner by 4:30.
4:30: Dinner (informal, buy your own) at Pizzaman Dan’s 2390 Las Posas Road, Camarillo, CA 93010.
Long time Coupe owner, Tom Koger, will cover appetizers from 4:30-6:00PM to promote his new company Alternative Performance Engineering (APE). APE sells a Flex Fuel conversion product and Tom will be answering questions and offering special Dorkfest pricing. One lucky person will win a free X85 Flex Fuel Power Module.

I'll be in Alaska... fishing... damn it!
They don't have Fish where you live?
VDC is an awesome destination. Let me put in my time off request from work so I can see everyone soon!
Regretfully, the VDC has asked us to postpone our visit due to an unforeseen distribution spike in July. They have offered to make it up to on August 11, 2018. We considered alternate venues, but we feel the opportunity to tour the VDC facility is too good to pass up, even it means waiting another month. We apologize if you are inconvenienced, but we hope you will still join us on August 11, 2018.

I'm planning on being there!
Can I go with my Roadster? I'll keep my hard top on
Right you are Ken!
I’ll be there, indubitably. My estoril is in Wisconsin, and I doubt that my other coupe will be ready before then... so either I will be showing up in a Z4M coupe instead, or I’m going to be crashing in on some partway caravans. Heck, or I can pull the trigger on one of those Phoenix, or Alpine coupes I’ve been eyeing up and down... yay! Excuses for extravagance!
Also, I can do the local drive coordination, if the position is still unfilled. Just let me know, and I’ll get it handled.
I'm interested!!
1995 Dakar M3-Z3 Steering Rack
2000 Dakar M Coupe-Bilstein Shocks, H&R springs, upgraded sway bars/bushings, and rear shock mounts
2000 Dakar M Roadster-Sold
2005 Alpine White/Imola Red M3 Vert-Sold
2002 Dakar Yellow Z3 Coupe-Sold
Welp, that means I probably be missing it then.
Was there a choice of dates available for the raincheck, or did you guys just take the first date they offered? I didn't see a poll or anything posted.
"You don't win silver....you lose gold."
Sorry you can’t make it Dan. Are you out is commission the whole weekend?
The VDC rarely opens their doors to the public and we’ve had to learn the hard way why. But when their schedule allows it, they go all out. We’re hoping to get a good showing, but we realize the date change threw some people for a loop.
Hmmmmmmm. Roadsters allowed? It’s okay if I have to park away from the cool kids.
My wheel bolts require more torque than your honda makes.
Still in! Patiently awaiting registration page.
New guy here, what is dorkfest?
thanks
Search is your friend on this. A must for newer owners.
