I need some input guys, I've jacked up the car from the side jacking point, went and put a Jack's and under the frame just next to the exhaust, where I've always done. This time I was watching the car slowly drop onto the stand for alignment and I saw the entire frame go up into the body of the car at least 5or so mm, when I jacked it back up there was no show of a rebound. What the hell did I do? I've always put jack stands under there even with my old e32. I also followed the photo of that E23 sideways showing all Jack and stand points that also go for the E32. Car has zero rust but I also have always heard a creaking in that area when turning.
Did I screw something g up?

Maybe Jack point collapsed .
Might be corroded metal in that area, quite common in Europe, as there the drain for the sunroof is located and could be plugged and then starts corrosion inside. Remove the plastic cocer under the doors and them you will see. In Germany they usually weld metal parts in and repair it.

There must be also some more good pics here on the E32 forum, someone from Finland posted many pics in 2015 when he restored his 1990 750i.
I posted some pics also here in the German forum, scroll down http://www.7-forum.com/forum/showthr...t=181935&page=

Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
Sergio,
I think you have some serious welding and frame straightening ahead.

Im not sure what it is, and its worrying, happened on both sides
Erich, Ken, It's not the actual bending of the jack point in itself, its the hole inner frame of the car would move as one large piece upward as I left off the pressure of the jack on the jacking point and the weight of the car settled on the jack stand. Very dis-concerning. I also noticed that I cannot lift the car from the subframe because it also flexes quite a lot unlike my E38 740. That one stays rock solid. Something is odd or maybe thats the way E32s were made.
Another thing to note. The squeaking/creaking is heard in the passenger footwell when the chassis is flexing like when turning into an elevated driveway or uneven parking area as I am applying the brakes. I thought maybe it could also be the new bushings are dried up or the anti roll bar bushing.
