Hello,
i have a problem with my radio(tried 3 different radios). Safety fuse is on, radio is connected, and the circuit is draining 1.2A(when the car and the radio is off), when i remove safety fuse the circuit is draining 0.1-0.2A(when radio is off). Then when i put back safety fuse and click on radio and he seperates(dislay jump out) the circuit is draining 0.1-0.2A. So should be save when the car is off to remove display from radio and when is on to put it back? Can be something wrong in circuit installation? Sometimes the radio increases/decreases sound volume by itself... I don't know if it's save to drive like that...
Stock radio?
Most radio's, at least the OEM units, have speed-dependent volume. So it's normal. You can set the sensitivity of this.

It's not stock, its Kenwood. Sometimes he increase/decrease volume by itself and i don't know if he has speed-dependent volume...

If you tried 3 radios with the same problem most likely something like the external amp in stuck on and drawing power thru the radio. Are you reading battery current or actual current thru the radio power line / fuse? The antenna also is powered

Not sure what u asking, but i disconnected the minus (-) from battery and then i'm reading the current...
If you pull the radio fuse in the back of the radio, and connect the ends to the current meter you are reading the current into the radio. Then if you disconnect the remote power amp then antenna power lead you can find out where the power is going.
If the current is not thru the radio fuse itself the radio is just providing the ground path. The look for a short ... some where?
