    Do I Need Spacers?

Hey guys, I'm planning on installing raceland coilovers onto my '92 318is. I'm stressing over the possibility that I may need spacers. I'm definitely going to get my fenders rolled. I'm running 18 inch wheels with slightly stretched tires. It would be a huge help if anyone has had a similar setup and whether they needed spacers or not.

    This is my wheel setup:

    Front: 18x8.5 +38 215/40R18

    Rear: 18x9.5 +35, 225/40ZR18

    Thanks guys!

I would be stressing about the Raceland coilovers much more than the spacers...

LOL. with 38ET offset you have a good chance of touching the spring perch of your front coilovers only

12mm front spacers would work. Less would probably work but you need a hub.

LOL. Yea it's a budget build, and I don't plan on tracking it.

Thanks! I'm not too familiar at all with spacers. Would you be able to recommend what I should get? 12mm spacer with a hub?

No. 12” and up you just need spacers and longer bolts. 5mm works with stock bolts. Don’t get 10s then you’ll need hub extender and bolts.

Thanks a lot! I'll be installing the coils in a couple weeks, so I'm just trying to have everything ready beforehand. I'll update with pictures as soon as the job is complete.
