Anyone know this car or how they did the bumper trim?

I'm really liking this bumper trim. I'm guessing you can't buy a one piece bumper trim for the diving boards and that this is a home-made piece.

What do you think? Any thoughts on how they pulled this together? Looks super clean and I'd like to replicate.

Pelican parts used to make a license plate delete for the diving boards (https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/PEL-LPR325.htm) but it's NLA. Anyone know if you can buy them elsewhere?

Wow! I just went out and looked at my rear bumper and it does look like that. Wonder if there's a way to make it work and be tasteful?
I wouldn't want a hack job but if someone figures it out and makes it clean then I would like to try it.

I'm pretty sure the rear bumper trim can mount right onto the front diving board. Front and rear diving boards have basically the same dimensions.

The tricky part, is figuring out what to do about front turn signals. I suppose you could wire up the city lights in euro ellipsoids to replace them.

The picture you posted, also tucked the bumper.

The last one of these conversions I saw had self-contained trailer lights or something mounted behind the grill.

I REALLY like that look! If anyone has ideas for the turn signals / running lights please post them up! Something slim under the bumper????

maybe just use the marker lights as turn signals? just move the wires back to that point?

You'd need the dual filament bulb in there, too. Not sure if that jives with legal location of turn signals for inspection, so keep that in mind.
