I tried SEARCH, could not find an answer. My car (2007 M6) has this button MDM where the owner's manual states there should be a button labeled DTC. Then there's a button with 2 indicator lights labeled EDC where the SPORT button is supposed to be. I have no clue where else to look for info... Please help...
PS: MDM is a "milder form of traction control". Few posts around 2010 are from our Euro friends. EDC stands for Electronic Damper Control. Nothing on the owner's manual.

from the Manual...
MDynamic Mode MDM
The M Dynamic Mode is a mode of the DSC
Dynamic Stability Control. It enables driving
with greater longitudinal and lateral acceleration
on dry road surfaces, however with limited
vehicle stability. The system does not provide
stabilizing intervention by reducing the engine
output and braking at the wheels until the absolute
driving limit is reached. Steering corrections
by the driver may also be required in this
driving state. With the M Dynamic Mode activated, stabilizing
interventions are only carried out
to a reduced degree.
EDC is exactly what you think it is. if I remember correctly the settings are COMFORT/NORMAL/SPORT
as you may or may not know, BMW didn't give us the ability to totally turn of traction control off on the S85 6sp cars......hence why we don't have a DSC button.
