A buddy crashed my E30 320i, and I quickly started parting out, but now I am thinking about possibly rebuilding, and maybe putting an s50 into my e30. Any thoughts on this https://www.kijiji.ca/v-engines-and-...ationFlag=true says compression is low, but im just honestly still new to cars in general. Any help would be great.
If the issue is due to a top end problem, relatively inexpensive to correct. If it is due to a bottom end problem, relatively expensive to correct. For the price, for me it would be too much risk. I would want have it narrowed down somewhat before taking the plunge.

IDK what those go for in Canada, but I'd at least want a beat up M3 attached to the engine for that price.
An s50 with unknown internal issues for $1200CAD?The engine has low compression in cylinders #2 and #4 . This could be due to bad/bent valves .
