Torque is the scanner, the Bluetooth adapter is merely hardware. Long term fuel trim, short term fuel trim.

COP coil on plug. He's telling you to move the coil, which you said you did in the post he had replied to. Read fail.

Don't know what COP stands for. [/QUOTE]

Coil-On-Plug. I see that you already did that. Sorry I missed it. Have you tested voltage at the COP connectors? Or gone “upstream” from the COP connectors to see if the wiring is OK?

Also, I had a similar probem a couple of years ago that was not COP, or O2 sensor. It was wiring. Good thing I tested the O2 sensors prior. They can get a bit pricy, or at least more so than a couple of inches of electrical tape.

No, I hadn't checked the wiring. Good point, but I already have an O2 sensor on order. Hopefully the wiring or the sensor itself solves the problem. I'll post the results once I know.

You've gone through the usual suspects,
and all symptoms point to bank 1.
A replacement of bank 1 02 sensor should solve this, hopefully.

So, did you replace O2 sensor? if so; did it work?

Replaced the O2 sensor last night. Car ran perfectly to and from work today. I've got another drive this evening that's a little farther, so if the car does well, I'll consider the problem to have been solved.

It's great when symptoms point to a logical conclusion.

Yup, the car is running completely normal after changing the front O2 sensor.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! Once again this forum's excellent contributors have come through for me and saved me hundreds of dollars (and made me look good in my wife's eyes ).
