rear brake pad sensor part number change

I have an early 2006 e90 325i and just finished installing new pads, rotors, sensors. Issue I'm having is rear brake pad sensor does not clip in. I cant find on real oem any different part number for the rear brake pad sensor in my model year other than 34-35-6-789-445. But the sensor I removed clearly had a different shape on the male plug that goes into the car. Rather than being a half moon it has an alignment slit in the middle. Anyone ever had issues with this and point me in the right direction? Otherwise I will splice the old connector onto my new one.

Do you have a picture of your old sensor? All my suppliers tell me 445 is the correct part too.
