Help Needed!!!

I hope I can find some answers here. I have a 2005 525i e60 M54. Im down to my last codes to fix on my car. I am getting a P0010 and P0456, car runs fine by the way but i have notice its not as it once was. So I get the cam shaft sensors to change and before i notice the vanos solenoid is disconnected. Not sure if its been like that of if i did it at one point. So i connected it before changing sensors and the car ran like crap! I disconnected the solenoid and all is back to normal. So I decide to clean the vanos and change seals. tried it again with the vanos connected, same problem. at the end I changed the solenoids and camshaft sensors and I am still at the same place I started. codes P0010 & P0456 and solenoid disconnected. What am I missing?

Describe “ran like crap” mine did the same thing but I also had a whine that reminded me of the alternator going out. Wound up being a vacuum leak. Although I had replaced vanos, coils too
