    M52 turbo 4 drift advice

So obviously there have been tons of threads about boosting m5x motors and I’m not looking for the basic info I’m looking for what’s gunna stand up to a lot of redline abuse.

Im wanting to build dining capable of 350-450 with room to grow as I develop my car and skills. I but I really need it to be something that can be thrashed on since this will be my daily for at least another 1-2 years. Also reconditions on how a gt30 vs gt35 behave on this motor would be great.
So will head gaskets and studs be enough to to hold 450hp with a lot of abuse or would you recommend a built motor?
    Build plan so far

I’d go ahead with a cutring + spacer, but your stock bottom end is sufficient for what you’re trying to do.

Contact a tuner to discuss goals and injectors. 60s are a good choice.

Gt35r will be a good size for the motor. The gt30r will be more responsive but will basically be at its limit on a 6cyl with your goals and the back pressure will be harder on the motor.

I added a bit more up there. The factory gaps are really tight so it happens a lot but at 450whp you should be fine.

Also I’d probably skip the port and polish. These heads are really good.
