Fan stuck on high, already replaced water pump and thermostat

    2009 535i with xdrive

I had water pump fail, overheated and put fan on high. Replaced water pump and thermostat, bleed system as directed( key on pushed accel down) pump ran and have coolant flow. The fan comes on jet speed but car does not get hot. I think I damaged the wiring connector at bottom radiator hose. This particular sensor does not come out of hose. It is two wire sensor and I cant find a listing for it. I can only find coolant temp sensor that removable and goes in top of lower hose. This sensor goes in bottom of lower hose.

If you didn't clear the code the car is going to assume the fault is still there and run the fan.
