I have been looking for one of these for a long time and it walked up to me in a Walmart parking lot (long story)! A 1985 635CSi Euro manual 5 speed car. One family, two owner with 214K miles.
Having not driven a manual in 20+ years, that first drive was interesting to say the least, but as they say "It's like riding a bike, you never forget".
So, here is my first of (probably) many questions.
The pressure point (release point) on the clutch is about 2" off the floor, is this correct? All my previous clutches released 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up from the floor.
Second question is, the shifter feels vague and/or notchy or stiff, is this also correct, if so can I do something to it to make it less so?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
