Hardwiring Valentine 1 into Sunroof Switch 1998 328is

So I've looked around on the forums for this same scenario but I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. What I'm trying to do is hardwire my Valentine 1 into the sunroof since it only gets power when the ignition is on and I don't want to see those ugly wires. My ground is connect to one of the screws on the sunroof motor which should be good. The issue for me is the power. I can't seem to figure out which one of these wires I can use for power and I've tried using a voltmeter and it hasn't helped (with ignition on) Can I have some help figuring out the correct wire to tap into, or if I should use a different thing to tap into? Thanks!

The first thing you need to do is to go to Home Depot or Lowes to buy a digital volt/ohm meter. It should cost you about $15. That will allow you to check the various connectors for switched power.

I mentioned in my main post that I tried using a voltmeter and none of the wires were giving me any voltage, and I even used a wire make sure I was touching the contacts inside the connector. So I came here to see if anyone had some experience withing a V1 into a 328is

Sorry! I missed that. Is the ignition in the “run” position? The engine doesn’t need to be running.

Well, stupid question, does the sunroof work? Implying perhaps the fuse is blown and that's why there is no power at the switch

Nope sunroof works perfectly fine and opens and closes. Maybe there are better wires to tap into? I just need to know which one on this switch would work.
