Updated E53 SP-Daten to Resolve SAS Coding Error

Hi folks, I would be very grateful if someone could send me a link to SP-Daten files for 2005 E53 dated AFTER 1 Dec 2009.

I believe I need files dated after 1 Dec 2009 in order to be able to code the VIN to a new Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) I have installed to replace the original one that failed. The new SAS is a different P/N to the original and was released on 1 Dec 2009. When trying to write the VIN using my current SP-Daten files (dated 21 Feb 2006) I get the following error message during the final "SG-Codeirn" job execution step using NCS Expert:

"Error in CABD" "Look at CABI.ERR and ERROR.LOG
    COAPI-2060: coding faulty (general) C_LWS5, C_C_AUFTRAG: BUSY"

Given that my current SP-Daten work ok with the original SAS, my assumption is that the new SAS must need new SP-Daten files. If someone has other thoughts on a resolution I am all ears!

    Thanks very much.

    Cheers, Grant

Anyone able to help me here? Pointers as to where/how I might be able to get the updated files at least?

I don't think it's necessarily a daten error. There haven't been to many E53 updates in the last few years.

Did you check the error.log file as it asked? It will give you more info. Located in C:\NCSEXPER\BIN

Seeing that you may have 2006 daten, maybe it would help, but it isn't guaranteed.

Thanks so much for the updated files Abel! I've downloaded them and will try them in the morning ... coming on midnight here in Oz.

I'm a complete noob at this stuff but given I have spent a gazillion hours trying everything else I thought I had better try the updated SP-Daten to eliminate that as the issue. The error log (screenshot attached) didn't provide any clues to me but if it does to you please let me know what you think.

Thanks again. You are a legend!

A quick update to close out my original post. It turns out that the errors were not due to outdated Daten files. With some minor changes in the procedure I was following to be consistent with that described at http://blog.obdii365.com/2016/04/28/...-angle-sensor/ and ensuring that I had the Battery Charger connected during the procedure, the errors disappeared and I was able to successful update the SAS with the VIN. I was then able to calibrate/initialise the SAS using INPA as per the many existing procedures that describe how to do this.

Appreciate the help of those who responded.

Hello, I hope you are well, I have been investigating little by little about the update that can be done to the E53, I currently have one and I would like to be able to update the modules, would you help me get the DATEN to update? ... Best regards.
