Please list the most common things that will cause battery draining - can't figure it out
It is not the general module ! Guarantee it's not . Tried 2 different ones , issue only stays on one of the cars .
It's not the roof module either as that was also replaced
While back (not right now) I will turn off the car and the computer module will say "Lights on?" when the lights were off , doesn't say it right now anymore but sounds like it may be something to mention
The door handle will need to be pressed several times for the door to open
Dome lights do not light up when the button is pressed , if I push and hold it , it will stay on
I've had them turned off completely and the battery will still die (2 of them)
So please list what any thoughts you may have about it or what to check . All fuses are good !
Have you determined the current draw, and what fuse is drawing the current?
I'd recommend getting setup with INPA / EDIABAS first to read all the modules, that will help you greatly. I got nowhere with my battery drain until I did that (including swapping GM's). In my case the GM was the problem, it needed to be re-coded to the car to eliminate an error related to the windshield-wiper-pressure system, which my car doesn't have.
Yes, make sure you actually have battery drain first as detailed here:
