    50psi hose

I have a coil of non fuel injection hose here, but it's rated at 50psi. Just wondering what are cars run at and if it's s bad idea to use it.

Cars run at 3 bar, you need higher rated hose.

But there are some low pressure situations that you can use the hose, maybe the vent tank in the back and the charcoal filter in the front.

    Isn't 3 Bar only 43PSI?

3 bar is more like 44psi, but it's not rated for fuel and I'd be leary of using it for that purpose... last thing you need to have happen is a fuel line rupture, I use rated fuel lines and clamps for that purpose, wouldn't matter anywhere else I suppose.

It is fuel line, it just says on it " not for fuel injection, 50psi".

Either way I'll probably just go buy a couple feet of the correct hose. I was just curious.

    Good,

FI hose, SAE J30R9, is rated for 100 psi and 900 burst pressure. That 50 psi stuff you have isn't for any FI pressurized use.
