Engine Swap for a 2005 BMW X3 2.5i (e83)

Hi,

I have a 2005 BMW X3 2.5i. Unfortunately a couple months back, the piston blew inside the engine and the engine got damaged and does not run anymore. It has a M54B25 engine. I found a M54B30 engine on craigslist and was wondering if I could put this engine into my SUV? Would I need any parts for this? Is all the wiring the same?

M54B30 will fit, most everything is the same except the size of the intake tract, so you should use the m54b30 complete intake tract with it. Also you need to use m54b30 injectors and MAF.

Computer will need a quick flash programming to run the 3.0 correctly, but it's not a hard thing.
