18's in front, 19's in rear?

I picked up a used square set of BBS RS-GT 18x8.5 and have 245/40 tires mounted all around which is just about the widest I can go on an 8.5 in rim. Handling and ride are great, but the rears don't fill the fenders the way I like. As I cannot find the same 18-inch wheel in 9.5 or 10-inch width, I am thinking about stepping up to 19-inch wheels in the rear which are much more available in the correct offset for the e31. Corvettes have done this for some time, so the "German Corvette" should be able to get away with it too, right? As long as I keep the tire diameter the same as the front (25.7 inches for 245/40-18) it should not negatively affect ASC or ABS.

So....I am interested to know if anyone else is running such an 18/19 configuration? If so, what are the pros and cons you've experienced?

I don't see any damage being caused, as long as the actual tire rolling diameters don't differ.

I’m actually selling a BBS RS-GT 18x9.5 Et22 right now. Brand new in the box never had a tire mounted. Would just have to find one more.

Hmmm...what color is that center piece? From what I can tell on my old iPad it looks like it's kind of gray...

Right, that's my assessment, too. Still interested in anyone with first hand experience, though...

It’s the hyper silver. The lighting in my closet makes it kinda look like that gray color they could come in.

    Here’s a better picture.

What do you like (or dislike) about +1 on the rear?

Modern Alpina wheels right? What are they from? Some interesting spoilers too. Do you have other pics? Keen to see the whole car!

I can’t find any Alpinas that are 20x11. What is the offset on those?
