Hi there,
I want to read failure-codes of my E36 Z3 from 2000 and would like to use INPA.
I have an ebay "K+Dcan interface USB Interface (INPA compatible)" and the OBD-ADS converter.
So what Version of INPA and EDIABAS would you recommend?
Is it possible to get a VirtualMachine with everything preinstalled?

You're using 'OBD' (K-line) not ADS (L-Line). Even if at 20-pin port.

But I have to choose „ads“ in the obd.ini right?
And „obd“ in ediabas.ini?

No. You choose OBD everywhere.
