    Limits of factory fuel rail

Is it the volume of the rail itself that is the issue or is it just the 5/16" hose fittings? I would like to have enough fuel flow to support 800+ hp on e85. I'm not at all against buying an aftermarket rail if necessary, but I was curious if anybody had welded some fittings on a factory rail and had good results

I have an OBD1 fuel rail that I’ve modified to -6 fittings. It’s been fine so far through 700+ whp.

I would say no for E85 and 800 rwhp. No for the stock lines as well.

I have a -10 feed and -8 return to go on the car with a fuel lab prodigy pump and aeromotive regulator so the rest of the system is covered. My goal is really only low 700's for now but I just wanted to give myself room in the future because we all know how that works

I’m on pump gas. There isn’t enough e85 up here for me to make the switch.
