Still slow to gas up after new charcoal cannister

My '08 750 would take on about a 1/2 gallon of fuel at a time, and after searching here I decided to replace the charcoal canister. I can now pump more fuel in, but it still stops. Before, it was nearly impossible to get any fuel in. Now it is possible, just not 100% problem free. Can this be a purge valve issue now?

    Hi,
My BMW has that problem. My solution is to remove the fuel spout / nozzel about an inch when filling. It solves my problem and requires little effort. I guess it allows more vapor to escape but I really have no idea why it works.
