Howdy! I recently purchased a 1988 735il that has a leak on the rear passenger side LAD hydraulic line, it looks like it's mostly leaking from the reservoir, however there is power steering residue coating on the entire line. I'm including a picture in this post so it can be seen, I'm not too educated on this matter however I've done a little research and would love an opinion on how to fix this issue. I don't believe the shocks are leaking, it seems like this specific line as well as the valve underneath (which appears to have experienced O-ring failure) are the problem areas. Would this be as simple as O-ring replacement? The power steering reservoir appears to be slightly low, i've also noticed a lot of residue from the bottom of the reservoir as well as a small leak. Driving the car is obviously extremely bumpy and bouncy, but from further examination it looks like the rear passenger side is the only source of the leak happening from the SLS. I'm not noticing too much discomfort while driving from the rear driver shock, and when looking a the same area it appears to not be leaking. Other than this issue the car is in very good condition, with only 136k miles.
