2002 bmw 325xi temperature
my temperature inside says 144 and sometimes is off when its cold what should i replace and where is it located?

I don't think the E-46 displays interior cabin air temp.
With that thought in mind, I am going to ASSUME you mean the outside air temp that displays on the Dash?

If it is like -40F or so then it will be the sensor or the wiring.
The outside air temp sensor lives inside the brake duct work on the drivers side. Normally that area get killed by a parking lot stops or curbs, so have a look to see if there are just two wires hanging out.
