Performance Exhaust ($1700) vs MPPSK ($2900)

For $1700, there is an option to add the "Performance Exhaust" on a 2017 440i.


How is that different from the $2900 MPPSK?

looks like a tune and articulating flap controlled by that tune.

A dealer shouldn't refuse to install actual BMW authorized parts to the car. But you probably want to make sure they're not going to be a A-hole about it if you acquire them through a different source, and find out what they're going to charge just for installation to compare. Also note this about warranty.
