2004 545i OBD

Hey guys!
I'm new to Bimmerforums and BMW's in general, and I have a 2004 545i. My problem is, I bought this OBD car diagnostic device. As you can see in the image i found the port, I opened the little lid but after that I can't seem to find the 16 pin port to connect the device. I tried to see if I could remove that part thinking it was another cover, but no success.

After attempting to open the "cap" again, I was finally able to do so! Thanks a lot for helping me out!
Tip for other people trying to do the same: When you try to open the second cap, try pulling it out from the right side, the cap comes out a lot easier.
