    Power steering level

After starting my 840 from it's long slumber, there was no power steering - that was one of the few systems I hasn't touched so I didn't mess with it. Looked on TimM's site and saw how to change the filter (if I had a new one handy), but nothing about expected level. I have some Pentosin to add, but don't know how much. And is there any interaction with the power assist to the brakes? That seemed not to be there as well...

I'll have to add that - the level should be just covering the filter (about 10mm from the top of the reservoir) with the engine NOT running and after 20 presses of the brake pedal

thanks, Timm! (sounds like you are saying just covering the screen, not the filter, which is much lower?)

Yes, the screen is a coarse filter - but I'd better be more specific!

Thanks! (And wow, are the Amazon ads on point on your page - advertising Pentosin 11S and a 100mm syringe right next to the paragraph you mention them at)
