Anyone kniw what would make all 4 calipers grab onto the rotors and not release? All I did was engage parking brake, jack up car, and upgrade from 16" wheels to 18", both sets of wheels are bmw wheels. Before that they worked fine. I do have a check brake linings message if that helps.

I am going to assume that you have a E-39 here. Now do you know what BMW that those 18' rims belong to? What size are those 18' rims? I suspect that those rims belong on a 3-series and they are hitting the shock towers.
Also the E-39 is the only BMW that uses a larger hub, so you need a hub centric to fit any other BMW rim on the car.

that's exactly right... your issue isn't a brake problem... its a wheel/tire interference problem.
+1. The tires or the wheels are hitting something. There's a whole lot of measurement in fitting a non-standard wheel to a BMW. You need to make sure the wheels you buy for an E39 have the exact correct hub center size, or you'll need special spacers to fit them. BMW wheels are hub-centric, not bolt-centric like many other cars. Where diid you buy the wheels, and what were they made for?

By the way, FCP Euro now offers w wheel hub conversion kit to change the E39 hub size to a standard BMW hub size, for those who wish to use other BMW and aftermarket wheels . This kit uses all stock OEM parts!
