So i picked this E34 up from a coworker a bit ago, for ultra cheap. Kept with my original plan to throw a turbo that i already had on it and see what happens... Came out better than i expected. All for under $1,500 including buying the car! From the time i got the car, until she was running on boost was just 3 weeks.
Turbo is a GTP38 from a 99.5 7.3 Powerstroke (way too big for it)
3.5" downpipe from said 99.5 powerstroke
Modified $100 amazon manifold.
Ebay 2.5" intercooler
Ebay 50MM BOV
Ebay knockoff 40lb/hr injectors
Milller WAR chip for the tune.

As we all know, a project is never really “done”. Over the weekend i dropped a larger fuel pump in, somehow i found motivation after an 80 hour work week. Theres always friends needing their cars fixed, and it pays for toys!
It still needs a clutch, slips after gear changes under boost, but thats cheap and easy to knock out. That’s something i’ll get to after all the damn snow is gone here!
Got a video from the weekend playing around a bit, been driving it 40 miles round trip to work and back over the past few days. Ordered new rear struts, one of my coil seats broke away from the strut body, ehich im blaming my fat friend for!

not sure if video links will work or not
Awesome stuff man. Only thing I would do is get real injectors just in case the knockoffs decide to fail. I wouldn't want to destroy the engine if one fails or doesn't flow enough if you happen to overboost during a pull.
