What cams work in S52?

Specifically exhaust cam. Can I use the cams from an m52 or? Other options? Will this cause a loss in power? Have a lot of wear on my exhaust cam and looking for other options for replacement. Have seen many threads in my searches for S52 cams in S50, M5x etc.

You need to put S52 cams in a S52. They have the most aggressive profile of all the E36 stock cams. You'd have a very noticeable power and tq loss if you used M52 cams, possibly even requiring a retune.
