Northeast 8s - interest in Sahlen's Six Hours IMSA race gathering?

After watching this past weekend's IMSA race from Sebring and seeing the strong performance from the RLL BMW M8 GTE I've become inspired to see if there is any interest in my putting together a Car Corral and other activities for the July 1st Sahlen's Six Hour race at Watkins Glen International. I live within ear shot of the track and have some WGI and IMSA contacts to potentially pull something together. I have previously worked with Johnny Edwards, driver of the #24 RLL BMW M8 GTE, and may be able to organize a meet and greet with the RLL folks in addition to a designated corral for our 8s during the weekend. There is also a chance I could arrange something with Will Turner through my friend Dane Cameron. At this point I would like to gauge interest to see who would be willing to travel to upstate NY in late June/early July to determine if there are enough participants to warrant pulling some type of formal activity together.
