540i RB25/26

OKAY! now lets get this clear i don't want to "Just go get an M5, Just go get an M3" i love the 540i mine specifically. Now id like to know others opinions as it is my first BMW and i have little knowledge of engine swapping, is this possible? would it be a good swap? is there another motor similar to the RB that is more ideal?

What's an "RB?"

Some have swapped LS Chevys, along with the appropriate trans.

By the time you dropped the money to make the Nissan engine and tranny work you could have bought a supercharger. Or done an ls swap with a custom dash.

Rebuild the current engine and slap a supercharger.

LS is the way to go for a swap, Else, just ride that 540 for a while longer till the guides break.
