Very intermittent gas leak, nobody has been able to locate it.

Interesting problem here: Right in front of the driver's side rear wheel (where the gas line go up to the fuel tank), there is a very occasional gas leak. Gas only leaks when starting the car after it has been sitting for more than a week or so. Almost every time I start it there is no leak, but if I leave it in my garage for a while and start it, gas is dripping out at a very fast pace. I stop the car and start it again, and the leak is gone. Any idea why this might be or where its coming from? Its been to two shops and neither has been able to make it leak or find where it may be from. Thanks in advance.

I wonder if they smoke checked the evap system, you would have to pull the wheel liner back to reveal the dmtl pump. We have had leaks at the grommet that the dmtl fits into

sounds like it could be from the return line. that is why it's intermittent.
