Just finished my third suspension refresh. I've had great luck with Meyle products in the past. Today I found my always faithful Meyle parts were made in China dammit. The only Meyle in this install were my rear shock absorber mounts, the rest was mostly Lemforder, all made in Germany. What a shame. I've always had fantastic performance with them. I don't believe these will last 10,000 miles.
Note: Below image shows MEYLE GERMANY on right side of shock mount, not present on new part.

I’ve had bad luck with Meyle products - premature boot failure on control arm and both Rear Shock Mounts.
I have used Lemforder E46M3/Convertible RSMs on two of my E36s with good luck with Bilstein on one and Koni on the other.

That's strange. Where did you purchase them from? Like you, I've seen "Germany" stamped into most parts.

This refresh came from a reputable vendor that I've used for years, it's not a vendor issue. It's a supplier issue. Our suppliers sources will change as part prices change, that's to be expected. It's just a shame that Meyle has started sourcing products from China as I've had Chinese made parts fail in under 1000 miles.
Hit or miss, some do come from China, some say made in Germany. I am sure eventually it will all move to China sadly.
I too recommend OEM's like Lemforder instead of Meyle for anything suspension bushing/mount/joint related.

The brand Meyle used to be made in Germany, we're talking 10+ years ago maybe more than that now. So yes it's brand name is "Meyle Germany" but everything is made in China.
