So, my friend broke my glovebox latch last night and I got the glovebox open by pulling on the cable. After taking out the glovebox latch, I was playing with the glovebox to see if the strut assembly can hold it in place cause there is no way in hell I will be putting tape over it until it's fixed and I accidentally re-locked my glove box. If I pull on the cable, this simply pulls out the cable since it is no longer attached to the handle so NOW how do I open it without forcefully breaking it and replacing more?
EDIT: False alarm... gave it more thought and since the cable just routes from the handle to the latch, I pulled out the cable that you normally pull on to unlock it and just pulled the wire itself to trigger the latch to open.
