Need help finding a wiring loom/diagram/info

I had an aftermarket radio inspected at a popular electronics store... They took it upon themselves to "Fix" the issue.

After 2 years, my ignition caught fire. It appears they cut my ignition cables and there was a short.

I have replaced most of the affected wiring but have found some cuts on wiring connected to the ignition switch.

This is the part I replaced however the loom that this connects to has some wiring that looks like it was affected by the shorting. Where can I find a part number or information on this wiring harness?

I own a BMW Z3 2.8L 1997 Manual. Any information you have or leads I would greatly appreciate!

Go to wedophones.com and search their manuals. They list a m roadster diagram that may help

You could buy a Bentley manual. They have complete schematics. You can usually find used ones on Amazon, ebay, and other booksellers.

The Bentley manual for ALL MODELS of Z3 from 1996 to 2002, including M Coupes/Rdstrs, has an electrical chapter comprising One Hundred Seventy-Two (172) pages.

The BMW ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual) for just the 2001 Z3/M is just over Four Hundred (>400) pages. The 1999 MY of Z3/M is just under Four Hundred (<400) different pages.

How *complete* do you really think the Bentley manual is?

Furthermore, compare the price of a Bentley manual to a five plus (5+) set of CDs on ebay including the TIS (workshop manuals) EPC/ETK (parts catalog) ETM, WDS.

I have a Bentley, anyone happen to know what part number would get me the wiring that connects to the ignition switch connector? I'll look into the eBay listing for help. Thanks!

Pretty sure that's the main harness. It's not like there's a short little harness you are looking for.
