Great car but simply boring. I like how one guy described it as " very versatile swiss knife" It does everything well. Very fast, it handles extremely well for 65/35 front biased weight but I simply miss RWD 6 speed manual neutral E39 balanced chassis.

I know exactly what you mean. I love my VW for what it is. a value packed moderately fun to drive fuel efficient DD. Went back to e39s after a 6 year absence and now I've got 2 of them (528iA and M5) and an e53 X5 4.8is.
