    2005 BMW X5 4.4

    Best way to pull a 4.4 motor

    I am in the process of putting a low mileage motor in my 2005 X5 and want to check in for an opinion. Working in a basic garage, which is the best way to pull the motor,,, From the top, or drop it out the bottom as an assembly?

    Here at the dealership, we always drop them out the bottom. The engine, trans, and front cross member as one unit.
