Halo Upgrade Opinion (+ new user introduction)

I'm considering Lux. They have white but also amber. I thought about getting the ambers since my E92 is crimson and I think it'd look better than white--which I think looks better on black or white bimmers. Has anyone else gotten one or the other and what's your opinion?

So my lucky self recently (November) acquired a 2008 E92 328i for $12,000. Too much? Maybe, maybe not. 1) it's crimson. Slight scrape under bumper and side skirt, but other than that great paint condition, save a few gravel chips. 2) it's the premium package. 3) also sport package w/ M3 rims. 4) last, but most importantly, it only had an unbelievable 28,800 original miles. So whether $12,000 was a good deal...I think it was worth it. Unfortunately not a 335 and it's automatic with tan interior (black preferred) but I figured it was attractive enough where people would look past that and enjoy the bright glossy red coupe, and more reliable in the long run while I eventually saved towards a much nicer car (M8 anyone?).

Car looks great, I love red. I think amber would look ok, I must admit I like green on Red but the reality is with my charcoal grey car I went back with white. Then I ended up replacing both lights with Spyder aftermarket light whit white halo's (which are different). I don't really think you can go wrong though.

I feel you. Only problem with green is all I see is Christmas colors otherwise I'd consider it 😂 and the white looks good. Like I said I think white looks better on black, white, and everything in between. But I was thinking maybe amber would be nice on red, blue and colors like that.

I did see this thread and thought they were pretty nice on the dark blue and everyone on there seemed to like it. It's gonna be a bit before I get them, first gonna get tint (Llumar?) but I figured I'd ask opinions as well as inch my way onto bimmerforums since I've always read over the years but never got on myself haha
