To tell you about it ! Pretty much all stock except:
Aftermarket exhaust muffler , sound very nice and clean , not overwhelming at all
K&N cold air intake , all original K&N components
Drilled and slotted rotors (does that count as after market nowadays ? haha)
1997 E36 M3 Wheels 18" with new tires on them
Viper alarm with 2 remotes
Custom built trunk , it has a 15" Rockford Fosgate and a very nice matching amplifier . It was installed in 1998 along with a cassette tape deck , nothing has been modified to aftermarker since !
Everything else is stock.
The car needs some small TLC . Nothing major at all , simple stuff , I would of preferred to do it myself , this type of car , I do not want others to work on it ! Some questionable shops taking it for test drives , leaving it next to the cars they work , having inexperienced mechanics doing work on it that may create more issues or worse ? I don't think so . However my busy schedule hasn't allowed me to work on it and the rain in Oregon never helps
Here is the list . Complete transparency (honesty) !
#1) Most major thing is the paint...still irks me till this day . There was a small canopy that was over it that collapsed during the night when it was snowing and windy , there are some light scratches on the roof , some on the passenger panels and a ding on the hood (see pictures) . Also the wing has little chipping going on (also pictured)
#2) This is where the normal stuff maintenance comes , refresh the leather , there is no rips at all , will just need to be stained again , very easy . They sell the gray dye in bottles and just rub it on the interior with a clean cloth
#3) Oil pan has little leak , easy to get to and be changed
#4) Valve gasket - SUPER easy to change on it , I think it's like 10 bolts around it after spark plugs are removed
THAT IS IT !!!
I have tons of records from the previous owner . Recent maintenance include New tires , new interstate battery , of course new synthetic oil , cleaning/oiling the K&N filter , new heater core (I have a receipt , it was over $1000) and passing DEQ . Good tags till January 1st 2020 ! All electronics work perfect , sunroof slides with no issues , all lights work , all speakers work , starts up with ease
Very pretty. sold?
