need help with vacuum hose location 02 325xi

hello to all
i need help with were does the vacuum hoses go for this canister. i know one hose goes to back of intake but where does the other one goes too.i bought this car a few weeks ago 325xi sedan and owner said he is a mechanic but what i've found says different. the way it is right now from the F connector on the TB boot he has a T to this canister and i know that is wrong because the small hose on the F connector goes to the fuel pressure reg, on fuel filter. today when i check the fuel filter it has no hose connected to it at all. thanks

You are correct. There are 4 fittings on the back underside of the intake manifold that you have to feel after taking the micro filter and housing off the firewall area. 2 of the fittings go to a check valve with 5/32 vacuum hose. One goes to the SAP valve on the passenger front side of the engine. The other one is a long hose that goes down to this canister. In the image below of an intake manifold turned upside down, the long hose that goes from right to left over the top is the hose that goes to the canister. There are 2 lines that go to a check valve still present in the image. Lastly, there is a nipple on the little purge valve that goes to the SAP valve on the passenger front of the car. I hope this helps. You are correct there is a small pressure line that goes from the F fitting down to the FPR on the fuel filter.
