    * * Opinions on CLUTCH MASTERS FX-300 * *

    Im starting my turbo build and my first parts list purchase is the clutch masters FX-300 version. Does anyone have any experience with this clutch PRO & CONS. Also open to all comments or opinions.

    Turbo will make 380hp with 375 trq.

    Pretty sure that's the clutch installed in my own car, though when I installed it, it was actually for the owner at that time, and I'm the second one since then (another owner in between the two of us).

    It's a little on the heavy side, so my wife that's had multiple fractures in her left foot & ankle doesn't like it much, but it's still livable for a daily driver; it certainly does not slip!

    The clutch was put in at the same time I fitted a then brand new Eurosport Twinscrew supercharger package, and included in the paperwork when I got the car (2/2/2014) was a dyno sheet from Mike Radowski/Maximum PSI for 425 rwhp.

    No, it's pretty linear. I'm not in the habit of slipping the clutch anyway, getting my foot of it asap. It can get heavy after a while, but in the M Coupe I can leave my heel on the floor and just rock my foot, keeping my leg out of the equation.

    I have an Fx-250 in my setup making nearly 500hp.
    It's heavy, but so far has held up for about 5000km. It's supposed to be more driveable than some of the other options.
