I have a 1990 325is. I need a working gauge cluster if anyone has a spare one let me no please and how much. Thanks
Your best bet may be from a salvage yard. Here is a site you can search http://car-part.com/
or ebay
No e30s again.
Thank you guys. Yeah I just found one from eBay
If you already have one I would recommend having the one you have rebuilt that way you aren't getting a used one that could be a crap shoot. I used Bavarian Restoration and was very satisfied.

Who knows? I had my rebuilt by Bavarian Restoration, $350 plus. I got tired trying to fix mine so just shipped it away.
I agree with aaverhulst and did the same thing and now my cluster works perfectly and comes with a 1 year guarantee. You could have mechanical issues causing the odometer not to work if the gears are trashed. The SI board batteries are probably an unknown as will be all the soldier joints. You could potentially run into the same issues with a used board if it hasn't been rebuilt. It may work initially, but you will probably be on borrowed time until something goes wrong with the new used cluster.

Econometer is likely the SI board. Tach may also be affected by a bad SI board.
Speedo may be gears, but check the connector to the sending unit on the rear differential.
If your car is a keeper, I'd really recommend having a pro give it a once over. Greg at bavrest does good work. Shoot them an email with questions.

Anyone know where I can find the gray bulb holders that go in the cluster to illuminate the gauges, one of mine went out. I verified it wasn't the bulb by moving it to a different location and it still would not work when a different one would.
What part are you referring to? The little dash lights come with their holder.
