I was replacing my clutch master cylinder and stupid me lost the clip that helps retain the hard line coming from the master cylinder at the point where it joins the hose coming from slave cylinder.
The part number from real OEM is 34341163565. Also attaching a couple of pictures.
I could order it online and wait for about a week to arrive but I need my car asap. So the question I have is whether this part is necessary or if it can be done without. If it's necessary, is a similar part such as this one, which I can find at a local parts store, can be used as a replacement.
Don't those thread together, those two lines? I looked at you attachment link but i just cannot picture that part. As long as they thread together and aren't flailing around where they can wrap around something or can get melted, you drive it. If they are loose, zip tie them to something
It's basically a spring to make sure the hose doesn't rattle in the bracket. You can leave it out.
